1.2 Our service allows customers to explore a wide variety of scents in smaller quantities before committing to full-sized bottles.
1.3 We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Updates will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the site signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Affiliation and Authenticity
2.1 We are not affiliated with any perfume brands, designers, or trademark holders. All product names, logos, and brands are the property of their respective owners.
2.2 All fragrances offered on our website are 100% authentic and sourced directly from authorized retailers or distributors.
2.3 Samples are decanted into smaller, sterile glass atomizers for convenience. Original retail bottles are not included.
3. Service Details
3.1 The size of the glass atomizers is clearly specified in each product description, allowing you to select the volume that best fits your needs.
3.2 While we strive for consistency, slight variations in fill levels may occur due to the decanting process.
3.3 Product images shown on our website are for reference only and may not reflect the appearance of the final product.
4. Payment and Pricing
4.1 Payments can be made securely via Stripe, which accepts all major credit cards, or through bank transfer.
4.2 Prices are listed in EUR. Payments in other currencies are accepted when using Stripe. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but changes will not affect orders that have already been placed.
4.3 Promotional discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated and are subject to expiration as specified.
4.4 Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing information to avoid delays in processing orders.
5. Shipping and Delivery
5.1 We offer worldwide shipping. Delivery times vary depending on the destination and shipping method selected.
5.2 Customers outside the European Union are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs fees.
5.3 We are not liable for delays caused by customs or other authorities during the import process.
5.4. Please note that if an order is returned due to an incomplete or incorrect address, the shipping fee will not be refunded.
5.5. Please note that if your name does not appear on the mailbox or doorbell of your home/apartment, your order may be returned to the sender and in this case the shipping cost will not be refunded. If your name is not on the mailbox or doorbell of your residence, it would be best to put the name of the person who is visible on the mailbox/doorbell as the recipient.
6. Order Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds
6.1 Due to the custom nature of our products, cancellations or changes to orders are not accepted after placement.
6.2 Returns are accepted only for unopened and unused items. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless there was an error on our part (e.g., incorrect fragrance or size).
6.3 If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 2 days of receipt with photos of the damage. We will work with you to resolve the issue.
6.4 Refunds and exchanges are not available for opened, used, or altered products.
6.5 Unopened and unused items may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Return shipping costs for such items are the customer’s responsibility.
6.6 Please note that if an order is returned due to an incomplete or incorrect address, the shipping fee will not be refunded.
7. Legal Age Requirement
7.1 By purchasing from TheDecantPlace, you confirm that you are of legal age to purchase fragrance products in your country.
7.2 You are responsible for complying with any local laws regarding the purchase or importation of fragrance products.
8. Limitation of Liability

8.2 Due to the size of our samples, ingredient lists cannot be included on the packaging. However, full ingredient information can be found in each fragrance's description or provided upon request via email.
8.3 Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Additional Notes
If the requested atomizer size is unavailable, we will upgrade to the next available size at no extra cost.
Example: If you order a 2ml sample but it is unavailable, we will ship your fragrance in a 3ml atomizer.
